Feature Additions / Improvement Requests - From Recording Start/End Times to SM Play and Edging | Masturbation Journal | Ei Nano
I'm truly grateful to have received a large number of requests for additional features and improvements. However, I'm currently behind on addressing them. Recently, I implemented the following requests.
- Ver.7.0.0 - Manual backup to Google Drive
- Ver.7.1.0 - Adding photos to records
Here, I'd like to introduce some requests that haven't been addressed yet. I'm hoping to implement them as much as possible.

Recording Start and End Times
Since the initial release of 'Ei Nano' in 2018, it has been possible to record the time of day as "morning, noon, evening, night". However, I've received requests from multiple people wanting to input specific start and end times.
The reason I didn't make time recording the default was simply because I thought it would become troublesome to record and people would stop using it.
Since there have been users who continued over multiple days, crossing dates, I'm planning to implement this soon.
Switching Users
I've received requests from multiple people wanting to record not only their own masturbation but also that of others. This would be a feature to switch between users within the app for recording.
Also, there's a request not to just manage with tags but to accumulate data as completely separate entities, which is something I myself have wanted to do – separate past and current data – so I'm planning to implement it as soon as possible.
I did some research on this, and it seems that in so-called SM relationships, the act of managing male ejaculation/masturbation is widely recognized. This is apparently a relationship called Dom/Sub (Dominant/Submissive). It might be that a single "Queen" wants to use this 'Ei Nano' app to manage the sexual urges of multiple men. It certainly seems like it could be useful as a play tool.
Edging Log
I've received requests to support "edging" for many years, but I didn't understand what it was at all, and I left it as is, feeling bad about it.
Then, recently, it started being introduced as a "new trend in masturbation".

It's not that I lack foresight, but I've gradually come to understand it, so I'm thinking of taking the plunge and implementing it.
Password Authentication When Launching the App
I've received several requests to implement password protection for app security, but I didn't understand the need for it and had been ignoring them for a long time.
Since 'Ei Nano' doesn't communicate with servers or anything, the accumulated data is entirely within the user's device. I thought that with smartphone device locks, it was sufficiently protected.
However... hearing the stories, it seems there are many cases where people "lend their smartphones to others," which was a real shock to me. I thought smartphones contained top-secret information that should absolutely not be lent or even touched by others, so I hadn't considered this.
Therefore, although it's late, I will consider implementing it.
Sub-labeling
It's not labels but tags, and there's a request for grouping tags. For example, to classify them like this:
- (Parent tag) AV Actress
- (Child tag) Matsuri Kiritani
- (Child tag) Hikari Hino
- (Child tag) Kanna Seto
This is something I also want, so I'm considering it.
Notification Feature
I've received requests for a notification feature at appropriate times, but as I wrote in my column, I lack the specialized knowledge to determine the appropriate timing.
So, I considered whether a notification feature where users could arbitrarily set the time would be okay, but I feel like that might not match the demand, so I'm putting it on hold.
Changes to the Calculation Basis for Menstruation and Ovulation Dates
The registration and prediction of menstruation dates and the calculation of ovulation dates have been well-received. 'Ei Nano' uses the "median", resulting in more stable predictions.
There's a request to be able to increase or decrease the number of days for sampling. This seems useful, so I'm considering it with the premise of implementation.
Item Breakdown
Currently, I can only record whether "sex toys" were used, but there are requests to also record whether things like alcohol, lubricants, or medication were used.
Hierarchical Tag Filter
Currently, each record can be filtered and displayed by tags, but there are requests to further narrow down the display.
Search
There are requests to be able to search by memo content and tag names.
Full Moon
From talk about how physical condition and libido change with the phases of the moon, someone said it would be interesting to have a full moon display.
Recording "Seconds"
When recording with a stopwatch, "seconds" are actually recorded, but I haven't yet figured out a way to display them. If you export to a CSV file, "seconds" are there, so users are currently utilizing them independently.
Displaying Calorie Consumption
This isn't a request, but something I myself was curious about. Since the energy consumed during orgasm is often talked about, I thought it might be interesting to display an estimate.
Summary
Thank you again for the wide variety of requests I've received. The feedback I get from everyone is an important guideline for making 'Ei Nano' better.
